It’s London Fashion Week. Belvedere are releasing their “Dirty Brew”, a blend of their organic vodka with a rich coffee running through it and there’s a big party going alongside it.

A few weeks prior to this, they had reached out to me with the task of producing a big ol’ batch of bracelets to be gifted to the attendees of this launch. We initially discussed a few possibilities of necklaces with a coffee bean pendant hanging from, but settled on a more dainty, adjustable curb bracelet with the bean placed centre stage. Bracelets tend to be a lot more fiddly than necklaces (due to only having one hand to attach them, so we also decided to make the jump rings larger than the loop on the bean to prevent it doing a runner (bean pun). The beans were cast in sterling silver with the signature Belvedere “B” on the back, soldered into place and plated in 9k yellow gold for a luxurious yet subtle shine. 

As well as making this bundle, I was also asked to present and give them out at the event itself, ending in a lot of lovely jewellery discussions, a fair few espresso martinis and an enormous affrigato castle (insanely delicious). I definitely felt way out of my depth amongst a fashion week crowd but everyone was lovely and we all had a laugh so hey ho. Always good to get out of your comfort zone :)
